An online appeal to raise £2,000 for a bench in the memory of teenager Kiri-Jade Hodgkinson, who died tragically last week in a road traffic incident, has been met with huge support.
The fundraising page was set up by Daniel Hodgkinson, on which he explains that Kiri’s mother, Carly, would like to have a bench somewhere on the Island, where Kiri’s family and friends can go to remember her.
So far £1,896 has been pledged by 99 donors. If you’d like to help get that total to £2,000, you can make a donation here.
Thanks to Linda Bassett for bringing it to our attention. She also says the large Co-op in Shanklin is collecting for Kiri’s bench memorial, buckets are found at the checkout.
