The Mail on Sunday reported last weekend that Sherlock actor, Benedict Cumberbatch, has bought a new ‘pad’ on the Isle of Wight.
The actor married his sweetheart, Sophie Hunter, on the Island earlier this year at Mottistone and was spotted in Hulverstone’s Sun Inn the following day, as well as more recently.
The Isle of Wight wedding was a small affair that, although attracting national media attention, was pulled off without any intrusion from Islanders.
If the ‘exclusive’ revelation by the Mail on Sunday is true, we wish the couple long and very happy visits to the Island.
