Rob Da Bank announced via his Twitter account this morning that The Cure will be headlining on Saturday night at the 2011 Bestival.
Da Bank has been trying to get The Cure to play Bestival for years, so his wet dream has finally come true.
Robert Smith, Cure frontman said, “I am delighted and excited that The Cure’s only European festival performance in 2011 will be at Bestival”¦ We will do all we can to help make it a weekender to remember!”
Also included on the lineup are Primal Scream, Brian Wilson, Crystal Castles, Grandmaster Flash, Magnetic Man, Robyn and Norman Jay.
Names still coming at us include LFO, Boys Noize, Katy B, A Trak, Omar Souleyman, 65 Days Of Static and DJ Shadow.
You’ll need to shell out £160 for an adult ticket if you want to go.
