Police confirm received a call shortly before 9am this morning (Sunday, 29th November 2015) about a body in the water off the coast of East Cowes on the Isle of Wight. It was found in the water near the Cowes Floating Bridge this morning (Sunday).
Multiple emergency services were called to Seymour Court in East Cowes this morning after the body was discovered.
Officers are conducting routine initial enquiries to establish more details about the identity of the body.
Police say the death is being treated as unexplained and anyone with info should call police by phoning 101. Mini-com users can phone 18001 101.
