Police officers searching for missing a missing man have have found a body.
The alarm was raised about the disappearance of 49-year-old Richard Chase on Saturday.
He was last seen leaving Fever Nightclub in Newport at just after 1am on Saturday morning.
Police say that formal identification has not yet taken place, but his family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Mr Chase’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Isle of Wight Coroner.
