A Bomb Disposal team were spotted travelling across on the Solent on the 1pm Wightlink ferry from Portsmouth this afternoon by Dale Whitehall.
Dale got in touch with this shot of the van on the ferry adding that it, “looks very tense at their table”.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary told OnTheWight,
“A company at Medina Wharf called us at 8am reporting they’d found some munitions at the site-apparently this is quite a common occurrence.
“EOD then made aware. No risk to the public, cordon in place.”
Sounds like a routine incident, let’s hope it all goes to plan.
