Isle of Wight charity, Daisy Chains IW, will be hosting a new Festival of Heroes event at the end of the month in Brading.
One of the organisers, Mandy Fuller, told OnTheWight,
“The event is themed by heroes, we all have heroes and at Daisy Chains ours are the children and families we help.
“During the weekend we will be bringing lots of amazing characters out for people to meet, as well as performances in our arena from Britain’s Got Talent’s Boogie Storm on Saturday and also the Dancing Super Heroes from You Tube, that got 30 million hits a few months ago.
“We’ve also got the Bumble Bee Car joining us, as well as all the usual side shows and stalls that we have at our events.”

Support from Daisy Chain in strong demand
Daisy Chains IW has gone from strength to strength in the past 12 months.
Mandy goes on to say,
“We’ve seen a huge rise in the number of families we are helping with travel costs, especially to mainland hospitals.
“We have this month alone supported 15 families some with one-off travel funds and some who are travelling on 3-4 times a week.”
