The autumn season of events at Quay Arts in Newport kicks off on 13th September with a free launch party which all are invited to.
Following hot on the heels of that, on Friday 20th September, Alexei Sayle will be crossing the Solent to read excerpts from ‘Stalin Ate My Homework’, his hilarious memoir of his confusing life as the son of Communist parents, together with snippets from the book he is currently working on.
Alexei will answer audience questions on his dazzling show business career and easy stubborn stain removal.
The show was given four stars by The Guardian and dubbed,
An hour of mostly splenetic and often splendid comedy … brings back a quality of political disgust that comedy, and society at large, has been sorely lacking.

See you there!
