It might be a little early to be discussing Christmas, but with tickets already selling out for certain dates, News OnTheWight thought readers who are not on social media may like to know about a fundraising Christmas Lights Tour that takes place this December.
The Inclusivity Fund
Organised by Diamond Adventures, they tell us that 100 per cent of the ticket sales will be donated to something called The Inclusivity Fund — a scheme that ensures no young person misses out on valuable educational trips due to financial barriers.
For the Christmas tours, Wight Coaches are kindly donating the use of their coaches.
Don’t miss out
Promotion for the tours reads:
We’re delighted to announce we’re running a fundraising Christmas Lights Tour this December.
“No need to shiver in the cold as you see the Isle glow, as you’ll be driven around in a VIP coach, offering complimentary mince pies, heating, luxury seating and toilet facilities.
“You may even see Santa on route … shhh.”
Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for children and £35 for family (2 adults and 3 children). At time of publishing there are slots available for the 8th and 11th December.
