Next week sees the launch of the first exhibition of 2022 at Monkton Arts in Ryde.
‘Bowie’s Bandstands’ will be showcasing bandstand designs for Ryde’s seafront, and also includes as a display of Bowie’s influence on fashion by The Velvet Pig (vintage shop in Ryde) in celebration of Bowie’s life on the fifth anniversary of his death.

You’ll even be able to see Bowie’s pyjamas and kaftan from the ‘Loving The Alien’ concept video, which will be auctioned by Bonhams to help raise money for the Ryde bandstand project.
All are welcome to the opening night of this two-week exhibition.
