VB reader Smisland Girl has been in touch asking for the help of VB readers. In her own words. Ed
Many Islanders will either have re-homed a dog though Bracken’s or will know someone who has and will therefore know how tireless and committed Kim is.
She is currently facing a huge difficulty that could seriously hurt her ability to continue to rescue dogs from ‘death row’ in Irish pounds or to help Islanders to re-home their much loved dogs to new owners when their circumstances sadly change and they can no longer keep a dog.
Specialist legal advice needed
Kim does all her work on shoestring budget and relies completely on donations and the kind help of dog loving volunteers.
At the moment Kim needs some specialist advice and needs it quite urgently or her continued rescuing of dogs due to be destroyed in Ireland may be affected.
If there are any VentnorBlog readers out there who are, or are in contact with, anyone with some legal expertise, then Kim really needs your help.
Please get in touch
Please call Kim on 01983 522599 or email her on [email protected]
If you call allow the phone to ring for a long time as Kim is usually very busy with lots of dogs to see to, so getting to the phone can take a while.
Please do help if you can, a lot of dogs futures depend on Kim getting the help she needs.
