Breakfast Club uses music to help improve your mental health in a safe and inclusive space

Join The Breakfast Club Music for Mental Health on Friday 3rd September to take part in a guided meditation with Bev Barber, and to hear music from Platform One student, Tyler Gorman.

The Isle of Wight wellness and social group hold regular monthly events at Strings Bar and Venue in Newport.

What is the Breakfast Club?
The Breakfast Club, Music for Mental Health offers a safe and inclusive space to encourage and enable people to live well. They promote positive mental health and recovery through the use of Music and Art.

Events in social scenarios are facilitated to support people with mental health and well-being concerns.

They say,

“Our outlet is music, which we use as a creative vehicle to approach recovery in a meaningful and relatable way.

“Most people are appreciators of music; a hobby for some, and a career for others. We support both non-musicians and musicians alike, in our shared passion for music and sound.

“Recovery and well-being are at the focal point of our mission to aid those in need of assistance, especially during these disruptive times. Music can be healing and has been proven to be an effective tool in maintaining wellness.”
