The Ventnor Business Association (VBA) invite all members to their next meeting on Tuesday, 4th March from 6pm at Phileas Fogg’s to discuss how best the VBA can support events taking place in the town over the coming year.
As you can see from the list below, there are quite a few and it’ll probably be necessary to set up sub-committees for some of them.
All the events have the potential to help enhance and promote the town and should encourage footfall to businesses.
The 2014 event list so far:
- Ventnor Spring Clean (in conjunction with Timebank)
- Red Funnel day or days – promotion of Ventnor with the Westminster Beach Hut on ferry.
- Dinosaur Day (possibly in conjunction with St Catherine’s School)
- Isle of Arts 2014
- Christmas in Ventnor 2014 – sub committee definitely needed!
- Heritage Trail – Ann Hutchins to report
- Festival of the Sea (this year to be held in June)
- Visit IOW Promotion Focus
- Carnival (celebrates 125th year)
- Ventnor Fringe
