Calling all school children: Project to create paper flower display for Remembrance Sunday

In preparation for Remembrance Sunday, the Isle of Wight branch of the Royal Marines Association (RMA) are calling on primary school children to get involved with a new project.

There are keen for schools to take part, so that flowers created by school children (paper, card or fabric) can be assembled to create a large and impressive flower display in time for Remembrance Sunday.

This is to reflect the fallen during the Wars that did make it home: Those who gave their todays for our tomorrows.

Tidying War Grave
As previously reported, the RMA are currently tiding up War Graves on the Island. Over a period of 75 days (to mark the 75th anniversary of the RMA) they will be tidying up 458 War Graves.

You can find out more every Friday and Saturday in St James Square, where you’ll find the RMA Gazebo.

You’ll also be able to donate to former Royal Marines in need of our help.
