With the stunning Jubilee celebrations now all done-and dusted, we’re getting mega-excited about our forthcoming Camp Bestival festi-holiday frolics at the end-of July, held in the picturesque surrounds of Lulworth Castle.
Weekend Camping tickets are selling like hotcakes so you’ll have to be quick if you want to guarantee a full weekend of Camp Bestival frivolities.
Requests for day tickets
But, due to requests from our supportive local Dorset community, we are putting a very limited number of Day Tickets on sale for Friday 27th July, Saturday 28th July and Sunday 29th July.
Friday frolics
Festivities kick off on Friday 27th July and will include a headline set from Hot Chip, plus live music from Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, The Cuban Brothers, Bellowhead, Adam Ant & The Good The Mad & The Lovely Posse, Dodgy, The Japanese Popstars, Stooshe, The Bopps and more. Entertainment on the day will include appearances from Comedy Club 4 Kids, Mathew Horne and The Fabulous Baker Brothers and there will be DJ sets from The 2 Bears, Ben UFO, Justin Robertson and many more.
Saturday
Shiny glitterballs ahoy as we unleash some serious Saturday Night Fever vibes on 28th July with sets from disco giants Kool & The Gang, Chic (featuring Nile Rodgers) and the Earth Wind & Fire Experience (featuring Al Mackay). Plus there will be our Silly Sports Day action, Main Stage mayhem from Dick And Dom and entertainment from Camp Bestival favourite Mr Tumble, The Gruffalo, Shrek The Musical, The Tate, Howard Marks and Stefan Gates: The Gastronaut, whilst DJs will include liquid drum ‘n’ bass kingpin LTJ Bukem and Hacienda legend Greg Wilson.
Sunday
Sunday 29th July will see a headline set from mighty Mancunians Happy Mondays plus live appearances from Rolf Harris, Dub Pistols, Scroobius Pip, King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, Little Roy, Lianne La Havas, Ren Harvieu and more. The day’s entertainment comes courtesy of the likes of comedy king Jimmy Carr, Fantastic Mr Fox: The Opera, Henry Rollins, Russell Kane and Rufus Hound, and DJs will include David Rodigan MBE, DJ Derek and Reggae Roast. Plus there will be a fabulous Fireworks Finale to round off our epic fifth Camp Bestival!
And every day there will be 100’s Of Free Things For Kids, the Freestyle Sports Park, English National Ballet workshops, Fantastic Street Food, Young British Foodies, the Wall Of Death, Jousting, Morris Dancing, The Dingly Dell, Wookey Hole Circus, Local Farmers Market, The Big Love Inflatable Church Super Family Facilities and more.
Tickets
Adult day tickets will cost £60 per day, Age 15-17 day tickets are £35 per day, Age 11-14 day tickets are £30 per day and Age 10 and under day tickets are free (but you must obtain a ticket) and will be available in person from both Lulworth Castle and Lulworth Heritage Centre, as well as through the usual Camp Bestival ticket agents.
