Someone going under the name OceanaOfficer created a Minecraft replica of a Wightlink ferry.
With the help of his/her brother, OceanaOfficer, clearly spent hours toiling over the creation back in 2011.
If you’ve never played Minecraft, or watched someone else do it you might not appreciate just how long this would’ve taken.
Minecraft mania
Although they originally commented on the video several months ago, Wightlink tweeted a link out to the video again today. Perhaps in light of media interest in Minecraft this week.
Minecraft – broadly, a computerised version of LEGO – hit the news yesterday after it was bought by Microsoft for a whopping $2.5 billion.
Let there be light
Between them, the Minecraft fans have produced their version of what looks like a C-Class Wightlink ferry, although we’re not sure the lit torches would pass the health and safety regulations, but they look great.
Well done to both of the creators, having watched others playing the game, we recognise the extent of their achievement.
