We’re always keen to promote local events, particularly those run on a voluntary basis (as VentnorBlog is). The Ventnor Theatre Group put on some fabulous shows last year, which were all well attended and received rave reviews. However, despite this, they are struggling financially and in need of some. The opportunity outlined below to support them sounds like a great idea. Ed
Everyone involved with Ventnor Theatre Group does so voluntarily – absolutely no one gets paid, we have no council subsidies, zilch!
Whilst we strive to churn out remarkable show after show for local people and holiday makers to enjoy, we are quite skint – well VERY skint actually!
So this spring/summer, to help with financing these shows we would like to gain some support from local businesses, restaurants, shops, one-man-bands, through advertising in our programmes for Buddy and Music from the Movies.
Our rates are just £20 for a small ad and £35 for a large ad. If you know anyone that may like to promote themselves or their business then please do get in touch. Look out for the leaflet on this very subject circulating around local businesses from tomorrow or call 856190 and speak to Jane.
Being very proud or our Ventnor name and location, we hope to get support from as many Ventnor businesses as possible rather than outside of the town. Please if you can, get involved!
