Police received a call just after 6pm last night (Thursday) about a single vehicle road traffic incident on Bonchurch Road half way between Shanklin and Ventnor.
As you can see from the photos above and below, the vehicle came off the road and ended up at a severe angle hanging off the road.
We asked police what direction the car had been travelling in, but they weren’t able to provide that information.
Surprisingly, from the marks on the pavement, it looked as though the car came from the Shanklin direction.
Thankfully, police say that no one was injured.
