Cassandra Gardiner: Sunlight

Radiating through cloud, brightening on the eye, spinning pools of white breaking through cracks of grey, pearlescent shimmers, deepening into the sky. Generating brilliance, burning away, blue patches tableau the dapple-sky sheen. Pausing the rain, turning grey to white, stripping away the clouds, burns the molten mass. The golden iris of arian eyes, stares and blinds with ferocity, dazzling the beholder whilst browning the skin.

Altering the outlook, charming through into openness, clearing the way forward, from smothering streams of dreariness and blur.

Shining reflection on daunting scenes, from dark to light, glimmers of prospect. Warmth shrugs our being, healthy glows.

Filling the sky, firing the greyness, no promises, what has been hidden uncovered, sweeping away disillusionment, the warming brush enlightening cold minds. Small smiles.
Gentle relief, light-heartedness, replacing downward sighs, chills and another dim day. Enhancing what is seen, colours bloom, the sea charms and flows with enticing movement, clearness and calm. Grass silky, green. Expanding in the heat, releasing little scents, brown earth.

Now the sky has changed, revealing in an azure pool, the sun sets upon us. Enticing our thoughts and needs for openness, beckoning, come out. Whilst burdens do not pass easily, the lightness of a bright day alters the presence of struggle, whether acknowledged or not. Freely, as the glow draws within, positive flow or heartening kindle, refreshing, sunlight.
