Hampshire Constabulary confirm they are investigating two burglaries that took place on the Isle of Wight at the weekend.
Both burglaries were at convenience shops, one in Wootton, the other in Brading.
E-cigarettes stolen
Police were called to a report of break-in at the Spar Shop in Wootton in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They say a concrete block was used to smash the glass door pane to gain entry sometime between 2.45am and 3.17am. A quantity of e-cigarettes were stolen.
Linked to Brading burglary
The break-in is being directly linked to another that took place in Brading at 3.45am.
CCTV (see below) outside the CostCutter shop in Brading shows two individuals arrive in a silver car.
They are seen checking out the exterior of the shop before forcing the door. CCTV inside the shop films them removing large quantities of cigarettes from behind the counter.
It also shows them making a dash back to the car with a large sack of stolen items.
