If you’re involved in a club, organisation or business on the Island you might be interested in this event tonight which aims to get you involved in helping to improve the health and well being of Islanders.
Tonight sees the launch of the Isle of Wight Change4Life project.
Cllr Dawn Cousins who is Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board for the Island Strategic Partnership had this to say to club, organisations and businesses …
“We are sure that you, like us, cannot have failed to have noticed the major Government campaign now underway across the country supporting individuals and families to make sensible changes to their lifestyles to improve their health. The Change4Life programme brings with it central government support and resources. As part of the Eco Island initiative, with a key objective to improve the health and wellbeing of all Islanders, it is important that we utilise this campaign to support our own objectives.”
If you would like to find out more about the programme you can check online or attend the meeting tonight at Medina Theatre from Wednesday 22nd July 2009 from 6.30pm (runs til 8pm).
