Age UK Isle of Wight (Age UKIW) is inviting all Islanders to grab some popcorn and join them for a special charity Christmas film festival at Cineworld Cinema, Newport, this December.
These one-off screenings of festive favourites includes:
- Love Actually (15) – Showing on Friday 9th December at 8pm.
- The Muppet Christmas Carol (U) – Showing on Saturday 10th December at 2.30pm.
- Elf (PG) – Showing on Sunday 11th December at 5.45pm.
All profits raised will stay on the Island
Elisha Leachman, Fundraising Manager at Age UKIW, said:
“We’re really excited to offer Islanders the chance to see these classic Christmas films on a big screen one more time, and hope that many will join us to celebrate this festive season and raise vital funds for their local charity. There’s only one showing of each film so book now to avoid disappointment!
“All of the profits raised over the weekend will stay on the Island to support the most vulnerable older people in our communities.
“We, as a local, independent charity are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the film festival and are looking forward to welcoming everyone there.”
