Climate campaigners are planning an event on 6th November, to raise awareness for the the climate and ecological emergency.
Being held in St Thomas’s Square, Newport from midday, the event organisers explain,
“During the first twelve days of November the UK government will be hosting COP26 the global climate summit.
“The outcomes from the Glasgow event will determine the course of our shared environment for generations to come.
“DON’T COP OUT IW seeks to bring people and organisations together to show the strength of local feeling and to plea with those in power to do everything they can to make the summit a success.”
