The Friends of Freshwater Library are showing the documentary, This Changes Everything, based on Naomi Klein’s bestselling book on climate change and local activism this coming Friday (18th).
The film will be introduced by Graham Petersen, a climate change campaigner / activist and there will be a short Q&A after. The film stresses the importance of local activism to counter corporate disregard for the environment.
The film starts at 7pm and doors open at 6.30pm.
Tickets are £3 and all money raised directly supports our Freshwater library.
Season of films
The Friends aim to try and show a diverse range of films at our new film nights – after a successful 2016 showing mainly new films.
Throughout 2017 we will be also be showing documentaries, foreign language films, silent movies (with live piano accompaniment), film noir, as well as the usual contemporary releases.
