A woman from Lymington has been reported missing to police after she failed to return home on Saturday night from the Old Gaffers Festival in Yarmouth.
Family or friends have not heard from Rebecca Allan since 11pm on Saturday night after she missed the last ferry back to Lymington. She has not made contact with her family since.
Out of character
A missing person’s report has been filed with Police, as friends say it is “completely out of character for her to go missing”, particularly as she has children.
Rebecca was last seen wearing blue jeans and a navy sailing jacket.
If anyone has any information please contact Hampshire constabulary on 101.
Update 11.10am
This in from the police, in their own words.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing woman from Lymington in Hampshire.
Rebecca Allan, aged 40, was last seen at the Old Gaffers Festival in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight at ten past midnight on the morning of Sunday, May 31, 2015.
Rebecca was visiting the island with her partner and a friend for the festival.
We are concerned that she has not been in contact with her friends or family, and that this is very out of character for Rebecca.
Rebecca Allan is described as:
White
Medium build

Rebecca was wearing brown boots, navy blue jeans, a grey shirt and a navy blue Henri Lloyd sailing jacket.
