An Isle of Wight writer and actor appeared on our TV screens last night in the premiere of BBC2’s Castles in the Sky.
Starring alongside Eddie Izzard, Joe Bone from Cowes plays Bainbridge Bell, one of the scientists responsible for inventing radar and helping the country win the Battle of Britain.
Branching out from Bruce Bane
You may recognise Joe if you’ve seen any of the Bruce Bane plays on the Isle of Wight. Written and performed by Joe, the plays have been performed across the globe including in Singapore, India, Italy, Brazil and Malaysia.
