A number of property developments are set to be discussed at this afternoon’s Planning Committee.
Starting at the earlier time of 2pm due to the amount of business for consideration, Planning Committee members will be deciding whether a number of property developments are given the go ahead.
A revised and readvertised development on the old Dairy Crest site in Newport has been divided into two parts.
The first features a residential development comprising 60 dwellings and the second is an outline for three/four storey block to provide 58 assisted living apartments.
There’s also an application for a development of 180 dwellings south of Old Road, and west of, Sylvan Avenue, East Cowes being considered.
All of the above are being recommended by planning officers for Conditional Permission.
Other applications being discussed
The agenda also sees an application to increase the number of mobile dewllings at Medina Park in East Cowes from 150 to 172, change of use for a shop in Sandown to residential and a single story extension for a property in Ryde.
