An Isle of Wight author has just published a book based on the possibilities presented by dark energy and dark matter.
Nathan Brazil says the aim for his book, Darklife,
“Is principally to tell a good story, the kind of story that I love to read, and which will hopefully inspire others.”
Islanders might be interested to know that parts of Darklife are set on Tennyson Down.
Nathan goes on to say,
“I believe that Darklife is the first epic sized work based on the possibilities presented by dark energy and dark matter.
“While very much a work of fiction, I was inspired by the brilliant novels of Daniel Suarez, to incorporate many elements that use current and near future technology.
“With a few obvious exceptions, most of the gadgets and technologies shown in Darklife either exist right now, exist in rudimentary form, or are under research by real world scientists.”
Other novels on the way
Nathan has been writing for many years under a series of names and has another four as yet unpublished novels completed.
Darklife took over ten years to write. Not, Nathan says, because of an overly complex plot, but because of what John Lennon eruditely described as ‘Life is what happens to you, while you’re busy making other plans’.
You can find Darklife on Amazon, available in paperback or Kindle edition.
