This coming Saturday, the Ventnor Winter Gardens plays host to a charity screening of feature length film, Death in Ventnor.
This new film, written and directed by local film maker, David George, is the story of two unsavory characters who come to the Island to rob a post office and end up having great trouble getting back across the Solent.
We don’t want to give too much away, but there are some brilliant gags and you’ll also have great fun spotting locations as well as many local people who featured in the film.
The film took 18 months to make with a budget of under £2,000. Everyone pretty much donated their time, props and locations free of charge.
All proceeds from the event will go to The Real World Trust who provide help and support for people suffering from substance abuse.
