Death In Ventnor: Film Screening At Waterstone’s

More news for any film-loving VB readers.

This coming Tuesday (22nd), Waterstone’s bookshop in Newport will be screening Island film-maker David George’s feature length film, Death In Ventnor.

Without giving too much away, the film tells the story of two blokes who come to the Isle of Wight to rob a post office, then get stuck here.

It was made on a tiny budget and features tons of local actors as well as ordinary folk and, of course, countless stunning locations.

Free wine and DVD of film
If you’ve missed previous screenings around the Island, make sure you get down to Waterstone’s bookshop for a 6.30pm start.

Tickets are £8.00 but this includes a glass of wine and a free copy of the film on DVD.

Please note, the film is not suitable for children or those who don’t like swearing – the language of the no-good crooks is what you might call colourful.

Check out the trailer to the film which premièred in June 2009 (listen to the podcast).
