After seven years Barbara Wells has now retired as volunteer manager for the Ventnor Diabetes Charity Shop.
Sarah Rowell has now taken over as volunteer manager and Barbara will continue as trustee manager working only twice a week and behind the scenes.
Barbara said,
“I am delighted to appoint Sarah, a trusted volunteer for many years.”
Endeavour award for volunteer
In other news, volunteer Mark Stewart was recently presented with an endeavour award.
During the last year he has been working daily for the charity while searching for a full time job, rather than staying at home.
