Tweetathon King, Gray Collins (aka @diaryofaledger), is still going strong in his attempt to tweet every hour for 60 hours.
He is doing it in order to raise cash for the Isle of Wight branch of the National Autistic Society, a charity close to his heart, and since he started the challenge at noon yesterday (Monday) he’s already managed to reach £1,869.
The national media coverage of Gray’s Tweetathon has been amazing, his story has been covered by the BBC, The Guardian, Radio Solent and he’s even had someone release a song on YouTube about him.
Rub shoulders with India Knight
If you haven’t made a donation yet, please pop over to his Just Giving page and help him reach the target of £5,000.
It’s going to a very worthy cause and you’ll be in good company. Gray told VB that the most famous donor so far has been India Knight, who he refers to as a legend after she retweeted him four times. What a doll!
He’s got 33 hours to go, so hopefully this song will keep his motivated.
Go Gray!
