Coming to Quay Arts next month is a collection of films previously unreleased, which show how early cinema storytelling developed.
Apparently, almost one hundred film versions of Dickens` stories were made before sound accompanied film, predominantly in Britain and the USA, but also in countries such as France, Italy, Russia, Germany and Denmark.
Sadly, only about a third of them survived and have rarely been seen.
Looks like an interesting journey and for only £4 entry, probably a great night out.
Don’t forget that you can enjoy a drink from the bar whilst watching the film.
