Brian Wicklin has been in touch with details of a book he has written and published.
Brian’s mother, Rene Clark, lived in the Isle of Wight between 1950s-1973. Originating from Sri Lanka and a strong Baptist, Rene’s maiden name was Amerasinghe.

He has written a book about her, “The story about Rene”, which chronicles her difficult life and ends on the Isle of Wight in 1973.
Brian now lives in Sweden, but visited his mother and her husband, Jim Clark, on the Island many times.
