To mark the 60th anniversary of the first episode of Doctor Who, the Red Funnel East Cowes terminal welcomed the arrival of two time-travelling icons – the Doctor’s TARDIS, and mortal enemy, a Dalek.
The duo, loved and feared in equal measure, were supplied by Fan TC Con, the Island’s version of a Comic Con event, which Red Funnel sponsors.
Thankfully, the Dalek has taken time out from its usual mission to EXTERMINATE Doctor Who and enjoyed some time on the Island today (Thursday).
To mark the 60th anniversary since the first ever episode of Doctor Who was broadcast, a fearsome, time travelling Dalek descended on Red Funnel’s East Cowes terminal.
Fortunately, the Dalek suspended its mission to EXTERMINATE Doctor Who on his special day to take in the sights on the Island.
