Wednesday evening sees the fifth episode of Channel4’s The Piano, with all the winners from each of the previous four shows performing at The Royal Festival Hall.
Among those performing will of course be Ventnor’s Jay Eatwell.
The 24-year-old Lowtherville lad was selected by pop star Mika and world renowned piano virtuoso, Lang Lang, from dozens of contestants in the first episode.
The series, which was shot in 2022, has resulted in a tonne of media attention for Jay, who frankly, is prolific in his output, writing and performing a new song every day.
New single
Wednesday is also special for Jay for other reasons. He’ll also be releasing his first single on Wednesday evening (at 10pm after the programme goes out).
His Instagram followers were given the heads-up this evening with a little teaser video. The single was created with Sean Logan, who he met on The Piano, and the video made in collaboration with Twelve50 Productions.
