The Phoenix Choir’s second concert this year is on 7th May at Holy Trinity Church, Bembridge.
This is in aid of the church’s development plans and a spokesperson said,
“Holy Trinity Bembridge wants to become a more and more welcoming and multi-generational church.
“They have developed plans to improve the welcome of the building including removing some pews for flexibility, and introducing a servery for hospitality before and after major events.
“They also want to develop their Audio-Visual system to improve engagement and to better support their Sunday Services, Weddings, Funerals and Concerts.”
The choir will be singing their normal varied selection of easy listening songs which will include ‘Memory’, Hallelujah’ and ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.
The concert commences at 7.30pm, admission is free with a retiring collection.
