East Cowes Town Council to celebrate Christmas with annual lights switch-on

East Cowes Town Council will kick off the festive season this Friday with their annual Christmas lights switch-on event.

The celebration will take place at King’s Square, opposite Waitrose, on Friday 29th November. Festivities will begin at 4pm, promising a warm and festive atmosphere for all attendees.

Local schools lead the festivities
Holy Cross and Queensgate primary schools will open the event with enchanting Christmas carols. Their performances aim to bring a magical start to the evening and set the mood for the main event.

The Mayor of East Cowes is calling on the local community to come along, join the sing-a-long and support this much-loved tradition.
