Saturday 19th April sees the return of the Easter Saturday Duck Races in Yarmouth.
Locals and visitors will be gathering at 4pm on Yarmouth Bridge to take part. Why not join them as over 1,000 little ducks race along the River Yar. If the appeal of something as delightful as that doesn’t stir you, perhaps the chance of cash prizes will.
Corporate Ducks
We hear from Chris Waddington that this year there will be an extra race for ‘Corporate Ducks’.
All the clubs, pubs and businesses of Yarmouth have purchased their duck from the Carnival Committee, decorated it and will be entering it in the first race of the afternoon (see The George’s above).
There’ll be prizes for the best-dressed and first over the line.

Why not pop along to watch or take part. Tea and cakes will be available at the Yarmouth Sailing Club.
