As part of the wider public consultation on the plans to manage coastal flooding and erosion between Eastern Yar and Bembridge Harbour another exhibition is being held at Bembridge Village Hall this coming Friday (12 Feb).
The December exhibition attracted over 200 residents and it’s hoped that this final exhibition before the deadline for comments will be just as successful.
Being held between 2pm to 8pm the exhibition will present a draft strategy and organisers are inviting public feedback to help them identify anything they may’ve missed.
It’s thought that the number of properties at risk of flooding in the area over the next 100 years could be around 730.
As well as at the exhibition on Friday, residents have until 5 March send in their feedback on the proposals.
