Emergency cable repairs in The Cut, Cowes stopped vehicular access yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Island Roads say the closure remains in place until 4pm on Monday (28 September 2015), or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
The closure is for emergency low voltage electric cable repair works.
During the period of closure the alternative route for traffic will be;
Cross Street, St Marys Road, Denmark Road, Granville Bridge Road, Granville Road, Terminus Road, and High Street.
The works are at the junction with High Street.
The High Street will remain open to traffic.
