This Friday (21st September) sees the deadline for comments on the proposed asphalt plant at Medina Wharf.
Many residents had hoped the applicant would hold a public meeting where they could ask questions prior to the deadline, but this is not to be. Instead Eurovia Roadstone will be holding two public information days a week later. Full details below. Ed
Following the recently held public meeting in East Cowes to discuss Eurovia Roadstone’s plans for an asphalt plant on the old landfill site at Medina Wharf, the company will be holding two further consultation events for residents on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September 2012.
These will take place between 10am-4pm at the Newport Football Club, St Georges Way in Newport.
“Hear more about our proposed plans”
Patrick Riley, Director of Eurovia Roadstone explains: “This is an opportunity for residents to meet us and to hear more about our proposed plans and additional information submitted as part of the planning process.
“We anticipate that the public interest in the planning application will continue and we are committed to keeping local residents informed about the plans and to provide them with the opportunity to discuss any concerns and queries directly.”
