An extraordinary Town Council meeting has been called for tonight (the next one was not due until 12th) to ratify the appointments of a new Town Clerk and a new clerical assistant for the Winter Gardens, as well as consider funding requirements and options for Sea Breeze Park (the proposed children’s playground on the eastern cliffs).
We understand that there will be 15 minutes for public questions at the beginning of the meeting, but whilst staffing and commercially sensitive items are being discussed, as is usual, the public and press will be excluded.
This will be followed by the Plans Meeting, which should be fairly quick as it looks as though only one item is being considered (Detached house with parking in Woolverton Road
All takes place at the Ventnor Winter Gardens from 7pm and all are welcome.
