Fat earthers Kyle with frog head and Luke with horse head

Fat Earthers sign to Brutalist Records and release latest single, Phony (update 2)

Isle of Wight garage punks, Fat Earthers, have three great pieces of news today.

Not only have they now signed to Brutalist Records, but their next single, Phoney, is due out on Tuesday (6th Jul) and the debut album, Bored, will be released in October 2021.

“Fixed firmly on everything that is wrong with modern life”
Speaking about the upcoming album and new single Phoney, the band said,

“Luke moves like a hurricane when it comes to songwriting, chords and riffs lurch and lunge like a heaven sent deluge.

“Whereas Kyle is like the lynchpin harnessing the chaotic energy in the eye of the storm.

“The product being two and three minute punchy cruise missile-like tracks that have their crosshairs fixed firmly on everything that is wrong with modern life from right wing politics, misogyny, trolls, Karens and all that is angst-inducing in the 21st Century.”

Fat Earthers
Fat Earthers are brought together by a mutual love of skateboarding and surf culture.

They draw their influences from their experiences living in a small town on the Isle of Wight, creating a unique brand of riotous garage rock in the blueprint of 60’s motor city acts and heroes The Stooges and Detroit Cobras.
