The latest Ventnor and District Local History Society Meeting will take place on Friday 27th February.
Speaker Richard Smout, the Island’s County Archivist will give a talk on ‘Island Elections 1600-1939’.
Rather appropriate for Election year and it will be interesting to see how things were conducted in the past.
The meeting will commence at 7.30pm at the Masonic Hall, Grove Road, Ventnor.
Visitors £1.50 or become a member of the Society which costs £7.50 and will then give you free entry to the monthly meetings, free entry to the Museum as many times as you like and a twice yearly newsletter.
We look forward to seeing you.
