There are at least four Guy Fawkes firework events taking place on the Isle of Wight today (Thursday) with more at the weekend.
Yarmouth, Gurnard, Haylands and Ventnor all play host to firework displays tonight, and you can even join others in a kayak paddle to watch Yarmouth fireworks from a safe distance.
Many of the events include food, music and more.
Arreton have announced their event is cancelled (Thanks Andrew for the update).

Ventnor fireworks have now been postponed until Friday (assuming dry weather)
Weekend fun
At the weekend Sandown, Bembridge and Wootton all host firework displays. Many of the events collect for Island charities and ’causes’, so be as generous as you can when the collection bucket is passed around.
Whatever you choose to do, have a great time and fingers crossed the weather stays dry.
