The Environment Agency have issued a flood alert for the Isle of Wight coastline this morning.
They say that high tide is predicted for 11:15am this morning.
Island Roads have issued details of where sand bags can be collected for those at risk of flooding.
Sand bags are available from Cross St Car Park, Cowes; Simeon Recreation Ground, Ryde; Well Rd, East Cowes & Bridge Rd, Yarmouth.

The Environment Agency also say,
“Force 6 Water levels will be high around slipways and some minor flooding into low lying roads close to the sea front is possible.
“Given the current forecast property flooding from the tide is not expected.”
