The Environment Agency has this morning (Wednesday) issued a Flood Alert for the Isle of Wight coast.
They say flooding is possible for the coast around the Isle of Wight with low lying coastal land and roads affected first.
The ongoing combination of high tides (around midday) and large waves will see water levels high up slipways through Cowes.
Albany Road, East Cowes may flood although no property flooding is expected.
Some overtopping may be experienced at Yarmouth and Ryde.
