Southern Vectis is offering free trips on its popular Needles Breezer for those wishing to travel across the Island on Valentine’s Day.
The bus operator will provide the travel on a first come first served basis – leaving Yarmouth Bus Station at 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm.
Matt Kitchin, operations manager of Southern Vectis said,
“We want to do something special on Valentine’s Day – and what better than to take a trip from Yarmouth to the Needles Park? The National Trust Needles Battery tea room will be open, so people will get the chance to relax, before taking the bus back to Yarmouth.
“This is an excellent opportunity for us to highlight the delights of the Needles Breezer, which officially begins for the summer season on Sunday 15 March and runs until November.
“All we ask of our passengers on Saturday is that they allow us to take a photograph of them enjoying their trip, so we can show others what they’re missing. Our team is looking forward to helping as many people as possible enjoy a great trip out on Valentine’s Day.”
The Southern Vectis offer is limited to the capacity of each bus during each trip – with no pre-booking available.
