There will also be free to try gentle dance exercises between 10.30am and 11.30am and again from 1.30pm to 2.30pm provided by Rhythm and Moves, designed to improve balance, co-ordination and muscle use.
Event organiser Paul Savill said:
“One of the central concepts of the My Life a Full Life programme is to enable people to take more control of their own health and care needs, with the right support, so that they can concentrate on living their lives to the full.
“This event helps brings together some of the great many local community groups and organisations whose support, information and advice helps them do just that.
“As well as members of the public we’re hoping that a wide range of people will visit us including health and social care staff and volunteers who work in the public, independent and voluntary sector. It is important for all of us – those who provide services and those who use them – to work together and understand the range of services available on our doorstep that can help people to live full and independent lives for as long as possible.”
